Begin with the prayer
A Morning Offering gives the day to God before the day scatters into tasks, noise, and reactions. It turns ordinary life toward Christ.
You can offer work, study, family duties, joys, suffering, interruptions, and hidden sacrifices.

Prayer text
Lord Jesus, I offer you this day: my prayers, works, joys, sufferings, choices, and conversations.
Receive them with the love of your Sacred Heart, and help me live today for the glory of the Father and the good of others. Amen.
How to pray with this guide

Why Catholics pray Morning Offering
The day can be given to God before it fragments into tasks, noise, and reactions. It turns ordinary work, joys, and sufferings toward Christ.
Why begin the day this way
The first movement of the day often sets the direction of the heart. Offering the day helps you remember that holiness is not only found in church. It can be lived in emails, meals, parenting, study, labour, patience, and service.
A very simple form
Make the Sign of the Cross and say: Jesus, I offer you this day: my work, joys, struggles, and love. Help me live it with you. Amen.
Connect it to Mass
Catholics can join the small offering of each day to Christ’s perfect offering in the Eucharist. That does not make ordinary tasks dramatic; it makes them available to grace.
Open the Scripture
Let the Scripture reference tune the prayer. Notice one word or scene that changes how you speak to God.
Catechism to consult
The Catechism reference helps show where this prayer sits inside Catholic life, worship, doctrine, and spiritual formation.
Try it this week
Pray before checking your phone. Name one duty and one difficulty you are offering today.
